Book a Wolf visit.
The phone is the quickest way in: describe what the hood or range is doing and we will say what it usually means before booking anything. Prefer to pick a window yourself? The booking page holds the diary, and we confirm it with you.

Before you call
Three things that shorten the visit.
-
The model number
It is printed on the rating plate, and the use and care guide for your model shows where that plate sits — on a current Wolf pro hood, inside the hood shell. It tells us which blower, board and lights the unit carries before anything goes on the van.
-
The sound, not the verdict
"It roars on high and the smoke still hangs" points at three places. "The motor has gone" points at none, because a loud, weak hood is more often a loaded filter or a stuck damper than a dead motor.
-
What came before it
A fault that crept in over weeks and one that arrived overnight lead to different parts. A windstorm, a power cut or a deep clean just beforehand often names the cause on its own.

The sparker carried on ticking long after the burner had lit, which was quietly driving us mad. Moisture had worked into the switch under one knob after a boil-over. Dried, resealed, silent.

Everything baked pale and took half again as long. Two other outfits wanted to sell me a control board. He put a probe in the cavity, showed me sixty degrees of drift, and changed the sensor.

The fan hummed for a second, then gave up. He brought the internal blower down, showed me a seized bearing and scorch marks on the windings, and rebuilt the mounting so the new one sits square. Quiet on every speed now.

Pick a time
The Woodinville diary lives on the booking page. Choose a window, and that is the whole job — about a minute, with nothing to type in here.
- The model number from the rating plate. Your use and care guide shows where it sits on your model; on a current Wolf pro hood it is inside the hood shell.
- What it does now and what it used to do, in plain words.
- When it began, and whether a storm, a power cut, a spill or a deep clean came first.
Ring late and a person still answers; the visit itself goes into the daytime diary. That is the whole difference between the two lines of hours above.
